How Can I Serve?
Have you felt something tapping you on the shoulder?  Do you have the urge to have an impact on the world?  Do you want to serve, but you do not know how or where? 

The mission and purpose of Providence are fulfilled through our ministry teams. 
Our ministry teams may vary in tasks, but not in importance.

Fellowship and Nurture
The Fellowship and Nurture team meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month, at 6:30 p.m., at the church.  The Fellowship and Nurture team provides the Providence family comfort, nourishment, and community as we come together.  Their ministry varies from a small group ministry to church-wide functions.

Evangelism and Mission
The Evangelism and Mission team meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, at 6:30 p.m.  They serve on the front line of the faith by developing new ways to reach out to those who are seeking something greater than the individual self.  They have also been given the task of ministering to those in need outside of our church family.

Worship and Music
The Worship and Music team meets the 1st Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.  This team helps plan and coordinate Sunday morning worship and special events.

Building and Grounds
The Building and Grounds team meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.  This team is in charge of the basic maintenance of church property.

Christian Education
The Christian Education team meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.  They have been given the task of spiritually feeding the minds of both young and old.  They help plan and coordinate Sunday School, children's church, and nursery.  To be on this team does not mean you have to teach Sunday School, but they do need people who are willing to give of themselves for the good of others.

Finance and Stewardship
The Finance and Stewardship team meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the church office.  This committee oversees the finances of the church involving fiscal and fiduciary reporting and responsibilities, pledges and tithes, as well as interacting with the congregation during Stewardship season.  New members with an interest in the areas of Stewardship or Finance are welcome to join this committee.
